Lunar Eclipsing life…

The moon holds a very mystical part of the human cycle.  Just as the tides of the ocean are affected by the lunar pull, why should a human be different with 2/3’s of its totality being liquid?  The term “lunar” gave the ancient term of luminosity which described an enlightened state.  Through the ages however this “luminosity” gave way to the modern day notion of lunacy or madness.  There is the old myths of the wolves howling at the moon, which still holds the negative connotation of witches and black magic.  Yet there is much to be said when a full moon comes or one such as strong as last night, a lunar eclipse, that happen’s once in 100 years, can truly deeply effect all of us.  Not only does the moon affect the tides but in ancient times up to today, it was found that planting agriculture by the light of the oncoming of a full moon was found best for growth as the light is gentler on plants for growth than the scorching sun, the added moon light adding to the speed of photosynthesis growth for seedlings.

As this light sheds on plants for growth maybe we too could pay attention to subtle nuances of the mind and the sensitivities that the moon can bring to us, possibly giving glimpses of awareness not experienced before.  In this modern day era, age of concoctions of pills, environmental pollutants, satellite waves, cables wires running through the streets, its very difficult to feel nature.  However once a month when a full moon reveals itself, its worth the effort to bask in the light, let your tide flow freely, grow a little and bath afresh in your own personal luminosity…
