Breathing From The Bones – Self Practice Course
There are no words to describe how thankful I am that you do the work that you do
and that you have facilitated many great things for myself and others.
Whether on the mat or not, I enjoy seeing how blissful you are and I reckon you
manage to align yourself pretty well with that inner state of clarity and strength 😉
I recall the many moments at this year’s self-practice course, when you managed to
sum up very relevant topics like, what is yoga?, in a clear and insightful manner
leaving your pupils on their path with a wealth of knowledge. I gained a lot of insight
into how my mind, body, and energy works during these Sunday workshops and there
is most definitely a deeper sense of understanding of why yoga is of utmost
importance to have in one’s life. Something I have always strived for is to experience
oneness with my being and the universe.
As you may know, I have spent time in India and other yoga-centered places over the
past 8 years, and for me, there is no doubt that you are one of the best teachers I
have ever come across. They say “You attract where you at”, so I guess I was ready
to go deeper into my practice. So yes Amanda, we are so privileged as your first
“Breathing from the Bones, Self-Practice” group to gain so much experience and
know how to ultimately keep us going on our path of self-practice.
It’s fantastic to explore more into why I practice yoga by observing the feelings and
sensations that arise, but not to judge them. So Ja, I thank your teachings of asana’s,
pranayama’s, Chakra’s and all the rest, for my expansion of self.
Once again Amanda, thank you for following through with your calling to be your
ultimate self and to share such a level of yoga during these times of conscious
awakening.
I am in awe of your beauty and kindness my dear friend and I believe we will connect
again in the near future and share many more blissful laughs 😉

I’m happy the way my self-practice has grown over the past year.  I’m inspired in a new way to step onto my mat and take up what I have learnt through each workshop with Amanda, which also seem to be magically timed throughout the year, to support and answer any questions that arise during self-practice.  I really believe that this is where the most growth and realization occur, time spent on the mat with oneself.  Afterwards, I’m super charged for the day (even if it’s only 15 – 20 mins in the morning.. any time on the mat is so beneficial).  I feel like I have a slight edge to myself and am better equipped to handle the day ahead.
