Deepen the Practice
I began my studies of Yoga in pursuit of what was wrong with humanity, 20 years later of blessed study of the ancient Yogic understandings, I offer my whole hearted gratitude for what the lineage of Yoga offers us to today and holds and thus offer to the world a way back to have found what is right inside of us.
In the modern language we begin the practice of conscious somatic proprioceptive integration, the deliberate process of bringing awareness and conscious energy to the body’s position, movement, and internal sensations to reawaken one’s psychic body, heal energetic disconnect, and fully integrate the psychic/energetic body back into a fully conscious state, truly a life’s work in conscious awareness.
This process bridges the gap between the physiological functions of the body and the conscious mind, often used in therapeutic and movement practices to address issues like chronic pain, trauma, and poor posture, thereby developing one’s proprioception, often called the “sixth sense,” which involves both conscious and non-conscious (subconscious) components.
What the ancients embedded into the Yogic practice was the map back for a lost human back to wholeness, the Yogic practice addresses every conceivable disconnect a human could have and offers ways back to centre, hence the multitude of Yoga on offer today. However, the depth of practice not only offers healing, but access to our untapped potentials, through a steadiness of mind, body and spirit we can attune to an infinite potential that is guided with purity of heart, allowing us access back to our cosmic origins within.
I offer this self-practice course to help provide the fundamentals that create a foundation that anchor this work to develop deep awareness guided with the Yogic 8 limb practice.
It is a joy to be able to offer this course to deepen and enliven your practice. I am thrilled to bring this empowering course of workshops together to dedicated practitioners, instructors, organisations as well to new to yoga enthusiasts who are deepening their understanding of Yoga’s powerful capacities. In this set of workshops I offer the tools that will help one open to the subtle energy flow within.
This retreat/course is offered in 6 parts, each workshop looks at specific family of Asana and Breath exercises in order to deepen the understanding of how to practice, ways to practice, why they are practiced, and when to practice them. As well, each workshop will include a sequence that is aimed at delving into a family of Asana, staying connected to the centre and meditations to be easily introduced into one’s life as seamlessly as possible. I hope that this course will give the essential tools to become independent practitioners, instructors to have better understanding of Yoga and to elevate wellbeing institutes to another level of service, so that attending Yoga will keep growing in our world at large inside and out.
