Pelvic and Hip Health
In this part of the course we address and look closer at freeing the physical and energetic blocks around the hips with Asana and deep breathing beginning to prepare to move into the breathing part of the practice to come. The pelvic region is a complex area of intelligence that once accessed and understood helps give one strength and stability in life. It is said to be the area of our vital life force, roots of life, creative expression & home to our stability. But when taxed with misuse and not stabilised with core strength it can be the seat of instability in all of these areas. In this workshop we will explore how our place of stability should work in our day to day life as well as in Asana. In this part we look to stabilise our being from within and gain the strength fly from our roots. When the breath is firmly established in the pelvic anatomy, a lightness & freedom takes place in the practice, in which we move towards the subtler part of the Yoga practice, pranayama & meditation.
